Recently, a research team composed of some members of the production project team of the Centennial documentary "iron and steel backbone" of the Central Propaganda Department went to Yonggang group for the pre collection of the documentary "iron and steel backbone".

Chen Yuqian, Deputy Secretary General of China Iron and Steel Industry Association and Secretary of the Party committee and President of China Metallurgical newspaper; Wu Huifang, Secretary of the Party committee of Yonglian village and vice chairman of the board of directors of Yonggang group; Liu Na, general director of the documentary steel backbone; Xiong Yuping, member of the Party committee and vice president of China Metallurgical news, Chen Xiaoli, assistant president and director of economic development center; AI Shajiang Rehe ManJiang, the director of the fourth episode of the film crew of "steel backbone", and Yang Shanshan, the writer, participated in the discussion and pre collection of the documentary of "steel backbone".

During the discussion and exchange, Chen Yuqian introduced the background, purpose and significance of the documentary "steel backbone" arranged by the Central Propaganda Department, and conveyed the instructions, requirements and general ideas of he Wenbo, Secretary of the Party committee and executive president of the Steel Association, on the shooting work.

Chen Yuqian said during the exchange that China Metallurgical newspaper is a full-time propaganda organization in the iron and steel industry. It has the responsibility and obligation to actively cooperate with CCTV to carry out the organization and implementation work and make a good film of the documentary "iron and steel backbone".

Chen Yuqian said that in order to ensure the completion of the filming of the documentary steel backbone, China Metallurgical newspaper has specially established a script writing group, script review group, material collection group and service guarantee group of the documentary steel backbone headed by the president. China Metallurgical news and CCTV financial program center jointly set up six project teams of six documentary episodes composed of diversity directors and diversity editors. The six project teams will go to different enterprises in batches.

During the discussion and exchange, Wu Huifang welcomed the visit of the production team of "steel backbone" and said that full-time personnel would be arranged to connect and be responsible for the shooting process of "steel backbone" in Yonggang.

 Wu Huifang put forward three suggestions on the direction and content of documentary shooting. First, Yonglian village has taken the development path of industrialization, driving urbanization and realizing agricultural and rural modernization. Yonggang group's practice of industry feeding agriculture and driving urbanization is typical. Second, Yonggang group is located in rural areas. It is valuable to rely on the wisdom of farmers to overcome difficulties and run steel mills and develop so far. Third, Yonggang group adheres to the practice and mechanism of co construction and sharing and actively undertaking social responsibility, which is also typical.

Liu Na, general director of steel backbone, introduced the general framework, diversity theme, content requirements and time nodes of the documentary. The whole documentary is divided into 6 episodes, each 35 minutes, and each episode consists of 5 ~ 6 main stories. The century old vicissitudes of iron and steel are displayed from six aspects: striving steel / vital steel, bottom gas steel of industrial layout, courage steel of reform and innovation, hard gas steel of iron and steel and a better life, soft strength Zhengqi steel of iron and steel, and Xiongqi steel of iron and steel in the future. The documentary will be first broadcast in prime time on CCTV channel 1 in October next year, and then replayed on CCTV channels 2 and 4.

"This film should fully show the family and country feelings of iron and steel people and play a role of cohesion." Liu Na said.
