The 1 # continuous casting machine mentioned in the thank-you letter was founded in the early 1990s and has undergone multiple major renovations to become a professional casting machine for producing special steel round billets. Originally, it used ordinary crystallizers. When the casting speed exceeded 2m/min, the quality of the continuous casting billet was extremely unstable, with frequent defects such as cracks and segregation, and low production efficiency.

Since receiving the renovation request, the expert team of the continuous casting company has conducted a detailed calculation and analysis of the shortcomings of the original crystallizer based on on-site conditions. After multiple rounds of technical scheme communication, a set of efficient crystallizers suitable for round billets has been designed. After practical testing, we have successfully ɸ The production speed of 155 section special steel has been increased to 2.59m/min, achieving a "double improvement" of casting speed and billet quality with small improvement investment, and the accident rate has been significantly reduced, which has been highly recognized by the owner and requires a comprehensive replacement of the existing ordinary crystallizer.
