There are problems such as inaccurate values, unable to accurately control the burning furnace, gas waste or air surplus phenomenon, and the difference in the intervention level of manual burning furnace. At the same time, with the increasingly strict control of environmental protection, CO emissions, particulate matter emissions control is more and more strict, artificial furnace is difficult to ensure that the indicators within the prescribed scope. To this end, the Information Automation Department of Hebei Xinda Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. led the research and development of intelligent hot blast stove control scheme.

After the in-depth exploration of Hebei Xinda Steel Information Automation Department, Hebei Steel Grain United Technology Co., LTD., Hebei Xinda Iron and Steel Smelting Plant and other personnel, developed a set of intelligent combustion control software of hot blast stove, by taking the combustion chamber temperature as the control value, formulated the optimal combustion chamber temperature curve as the control target curve; The environmental control value takes the exhaust emission index as the target, as the first auxiliary control value parameter, and fine-tunes the combustion effect by combining the detection values of CO and particulate matter in the exhaust gas while ensuring the temperature rise curve of the combustion chamber. The goal is to complete the combustion operation in the shortest time and reduce the exhaust emission. The temperature curve of the vault of the hot blast furnace is taken as the second auxiliary control parameter, and the flow-based optimization control is aimed at optimizing the air-fuel ratio. A few control schemes add the detection of exhaust oxygen content for control.

In order to ensure that the flow monitoring instrument maintains high precision operation for a long time and effectively controls the fuel ratio accuracy, the optimization control of the combustion chamber temperature curve, the dynamic differentiation of the exhaust emission data and the vault temperature control are combined to ensure that the system is always in the optimal combustion state. The control scheme of intelligent burning furnace of hot blast stove puts aside the control of combustion ratio, avoids the adverse influence of the change of flow accuracy on the control effect, and realizes the traceability, high efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection. The control theory and scheme appeared for the first time in the same industry at home and abroad, and the domestic technology was advanced.

At the same time, the intelligent combustion control software of hot blast stove sets several interlock protection conditions, such as gas pressure interlock protection, combustion chamber temperature interlock protection, vault temperature interlock protection, and abnormal exhaust emission value interlock protection. Under emergency conditions, it can be switched to manual control mode at any time through the operation of "control control switch", and can be switched to automatic control mode after the abnormal is removed. Ensure system security. At the same time, the data alarm point of the fixed combustible gas alarm instrument in the hot blast stove site is connected to the control system alarm system to prevent safety accidents and better ensure the safety of the hot blast stove.

Compared with manual furnace, the intelligent furnace control scheme of hot blast furnace can save 4.8% gas per hour after it is put into use in Hebei Xinda Iron and Steel Smelting plant. The sulfur dioxide content in exhaust gas was reduced by 2.3% on average, and the particulate matter emission was reduced by 66.03% on average. Compared with the artificial combustion chamber temperature fluctuation, the intelligent furnace is more conducive to the stable production of the blast furnace, achieving the double effect of energy saving and emission reduction, and effectively reducing the labor intensity of the hot air post, the effective use time of the system reaches more than 95%, the operation effect is good, and the estimated annual economic benefit can reach 6.5 million yuan.
